Re: A night at RAF Cosford

Excellent The bottle nose harrier is a real eye catcher Great relics of the cold war era when men were men Thank you, they are good looking jets. I time I wished I could have seen the jets in action but are now consigned to museums (at least a large majority are well kept) Really nice set James - w...

Re: Headsup posts are becoming to cryptic

Google doesn't help you when all you can put in, is a random callsign. Believe it or not - Google doesn't resolve everything. :)

A possible suggestion with head-up titles would be the callsign and aircraft if known.

In the past, Soloturk has been support with a KC-135, and believe the Phantoms have too :)

Re: A night at RAF Cosford

Excellent crisp, sharp and detailed images. Great to see my old Sqn GR1 in the finery of its 'Blackhand' markings. Thank you, it looked lovely! V.nice set. Particularly liking the F3 pics and that dusk shot of the Harrier GR3 which is most atmospheric. Could have been taken on the ramp @ Wittering ...

A night at RAF Cosford

A couple weeks ago I managed to get a ticket to the Threshold.aero held photoshoot at RAF Cosford, their 5th event and my first one. Managed to get a couple of hours at the museum, and despite a couple of aircraft not being available, they managed to pull out 5 different schemed Jaguars, 2 Harriers,...

Re: FRIAT 2024

Agreed Supra! But I suppose us Brits can either be no comments at all, or the best at small talk  I saw this comment elsewhere... The Silver Police Commander with responsibility for the event had direct experience of the Manchester Arena bombing, and so is very focused on security for events li...

Reading the notes, it doesn't actually seem set in stone yet that this entrance has been lost...at least not yet.

Re: FRIAT 2024

The notes from the FRIAT forum was sent through today, nothing exciting in there I think the loss of the separate and early entrance for FRIAT members is a blow. The issue seems to be based on the new laws following the Manchester Arena bombing. Apparently it's an issue for the police but DBH appea...
