Re: Has anyone else heard this story and is it true or even possible?

There's a book called The Penetrators by Anthony Gray from 1966 about a loosely disguised Vulcan that flew over the White House on a simulated bombing run to prove a point to the yanks.

Sadly, she won't be brought up with A-10's, Vulcan, Bucc, Harrier, nimrod, Shack, Lightning, Concorde, Victor, Wessex and Gazzelle... She'll never see Church Fenton, Finningley or Locking air days... Hopefully, she'll grow up around what we have left and become a Fighter Controller herself, our firs...

Subscribe to thread.

Afternoon,
This might be a daft question but, is there a 'subscribe to thread' option on here?

I reckon to have looked but can't seem to find one (nor a better section to post this).

Cheers.

Road running "apache's"

Just seen a post on autosh_ite.com of two Apaches on the M4/M40.

Not sure where exactly or which direction, any other sightings or where they were going to/from?

Re: Air Pollution

Volcanic ash has a lower melting point than sand. Ash is more likely to build up and glaze onto engine components. Sand is more abrasive but less prone to build up in engines.

There is a recent-ish thread on pprune about it but I haven't got a link straight off.
