Re: Req Cobra Warrior dates 24-1

Nothing official yet, but should be either w/c 2nd or 9th September based on previous years. Let's hope it happens! The reasons for the March running being cancelled was lack of foreign participants, with only German Tornados on the list to attend, and that Waddington would be busy with other thing...

Re: Req Cobra Warrior dates 24-1

Does anyone know the dates for September’s exercise? I’ve had a trawl through the internet but nothing found.

Re: Mildenhall NOTAM April 8th.

Where would be the best place to view taxiway Charlie south?

Edit: I found my answer, I just remembered the Thunder-and-Lightnings webpage

Re: Red Arrows 60th Diamond Season

I personally think they are worth the money and highlight the RAF and British industry in a positive way. I'm not sure they are, of late... :S I agree the last few years have been negative but hopefully, these bad times are now in the past, the perpetrators dealt with accordingly and the victims ge...

Re: Red Arrows 60th Diamond Season

Aviation enthusiasts aside, you just have to look at the reaction of the general public after a display, they’re still a crowd favourite. We tend to be more critical of a display because of our interest in aviation. I personally think they are worth the money and highlight the RAF and British indust...

Re: New Year flying

Fridays can be quite busy with flying finishing anywhere between 1400 and 1600. I’d say it’s always worth a visit, even on a Friday with the performance take offs. Yesterday, I think someone said that at least 21 different F-35’s flew although no F-15’s. To get a good idea of the mass launches, if y...

well at least i put it in the right place.
I did think about posting it in this section but the Mess does say military aviation news and I consider this a news item rather than local movement hence where I posted it.

C-130 Flights 30th December

Does anyone know what is with all the C-130 flights today? Possibly 2 already landed with what looks like another 2 on their way from Powidz. Before Christmas, it was mentioned somewhere on here that the U-2’s were permanently moving to Powidz from Fairford. Are the U-2’s coming back or the C-130’s ...

Re: Marham Opening hours November 2023

As QE berthed at Glen Mallan this morning, that’s answered my own question. Did only 2 jets arrive back at Marham last week or does anyone know if they all came back? I heard at least 4 - two Ghost pairs but probably missed the others A 2 ship Seajet call sign landed on the 9th, off the QE I presume.
