Re: F & F Day 5/8/17

And you want preferential treatment over 30 million other taxpayers because...? ...so why should you get preferential treatment then? They're not your jets you know. Does anybody else see the irony of Two Typhoons inbound for the F&F Day (presumably from Coningsby)? Wonder if they will be marked???...

Its for families and kids and friends of our serving personnel etc. Nothing at all to do with 'cosy wee clubs' or 'nepotism.' We're having a party. ...but you're not invited. . . . Oh, and you're paying for it. Hope yo...

Re: F & F Day 5/8/17

Well that looks ok for viewing at the north end. What was all the fuss about?

Rain dance cancelled - although there should still be opportunities to friendly locals who are not in the clique to gain proper entry.

Re: F & F Day 5/8/17

Well thanks for that David, serves us right for putting all that effort in to make an enjoyable day out for everyone. First off, I can't control the weather. Scondly... Everyone ? Or just everyone that matters ? I love the jets and I'm more than happy to put up with the downsides of having a major ...

Just don't mention the sizes of their camera lenses. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.

Re: XV(R) Squadron Tour/Flypast detailed...

Well, that put the 'death-kiss' on that then? Nah, the weather's fine. It's not howling a gale at least! Re: The raft race. I always recall standing there outside Miele's and a Tornado approaching low and at very high speed from over the footbridge direction and then going vertical. Kinda terrifyin...

It'll be less noisy, that's for sure.

Re: Trump's first military spending comment

I suspect Boeing will help reduce the cost so that US industry and US government-to-be can both be seen to be doing the right thing while they exist within a near bankrupt nation. Wellllllll not really. The theory being that a country that prints its own currency can never go bust. They just print ...

Re: UK Confirms 9 Boeing P-8's to be purchased

Runway at Kinloss would have needed too much work for P-8A ......He explained that the Kinloss runway was 500feet shorter than Lossiemouth – meaning that if it was to be used it would first require a complete upgrade. In addition, the P-8A undercarriage configuration is narrower than the Nimrod – m...
