Re: SIAF 2018

Jet Noise,
Have to agree that the airliners at Sliac (and Radom) were extremely, and impressively, low. Certainly something that we'll not see at a show this side of The Channel.
That Hornet pilot was amazing though. He must have come back from a squadron exchange on Flankers...

Re: Swanage 28/08/2018

Chopper, Not the same as a visual but Webtrak identifies the Wildcat crossing Swanage NW-SE @1130 that day as RASCL382. ADS-B reports for the same time identify RASCL382 as ZZ380. Make sure you walk (1'30") to the Square & Compass at Worth Matravers from Swanage for lunch before you go home. Use The...

Re: Poorly, Patched Up Phenom

Thanks Davem. I did find them eventually. I can’t comment on today, but they were both still visible at the Harmston end on Friday night as we drove down to the Kings Head in Navenby :thumb: .

REQ: Lakenheath Monday 6.8.18

I’ve read that the Aviano F-16s have been operating from HASs this past two weeks. Today the majority, if not all, of the deployment are sat on (or near) the visitors pan. Until today, the 2 tardy ‘Saudi’ F-15s were visible from the field on the opposite side of the A1065. Today, after their abortiv...

Davem,
Where have the Phenoms been parking when at Waddo? I ask because I wonder whether ‘335 & ‘336 have relocated to Cranwell yet. Cheers, Freeman

Is anyone able to advise if there will be any special parking arrangements for viewing the arrival of this batch, as there were for the first?

Re: RAF Marham Enthusiasts Day 21st June 2018

Had an email from RAF Marham promising a further contact last week regarding the refund. Didn’t happen. Has anyone had substantive contact on this matter?
Thanks, Freeman
