Re: Damage to fence near CG1

Sadly the mentality of some that I must get the numbers or a photograph is getting too rife. All down to the internet I am afraid which alerts the masses to what is around.

Unsurprising considering the weather fronts currently crossing the Atlantic.

Re: Euromil: Military Aircraft Serials

Sorry to be pedantic but I still have the original US Military aircraft to Europe from May 1979, currently sitting on desk in front of me, and it is a violet colour not orange, and it was published by the Aviation Hobby Shop. By the second edition, which is a more dark pink colour, Seefive Publicatio...

Re: Euromil: Military Aircraft Serials

The very first edition was called Foreign Military Air Arms to Europe and came out in May 1980. This was followed by the next three editions, by then called Euromil, in February 1982, April 1984 and September 1986. I still have my copies.

I hate to tell you this but Ben Stokes plays for Durham; he was playing in a T20 quarter final last week.

Re: 1980 C-130 call-sign - serial tie-ups req

Reference the two aircraft shown as Algerian, I would have suggested one of the three L-100's that were operated by Air Algerie but they were not delivered until 1981. Also the Algerian Air Force machines were delivered from 1982 onwards.

It is neither of what you have quoted as all the C-145 serials ended in 3--.

Re: Req: Creek Party KC-97's 1971

Looking back through my old logs I too have 52-0869 for that date, plus 52-0892. I am afraid though that I do not have the call signs.

Re: Specsavers England vs India Test match series

Yet another "test" match that lasted nowhere near the allocated 5 days. The skill for playing in this type of match is no longer there. Short boundaries, used to use the whole gambit of the venue, people running on and off at the end of each over with drinks, gloves, bats and anything else they can ...

Re: England vs India 1st Test

Jason Roy must be due a test debut Osrams are old school. More like LED lights from Screwfix! Hmm very interesting :grr: Osram is the name of a company that specialises in lighting, not the name of a light bulb. They are currently specialising in the production of LED lights probably the ones avail...

Re: England vs India 1st Test

T20 between Surrey and Middlesex last night was much better watching than the Test Match. Jason Roy and Aaron Finch opening for Surrey absolutely brilliant and much better entertainment than watching Osrams at a certain Norfolk airfield.

Reading the article it clearly refers to a further potential deployment in 2018. It is dated July 2018.
