B52 crash in Guam

Apologies if this has been posted already.
A B52 has crashed in Guam, but thankfully the crew of 7 got out OK.
No doubt more info will be available later.

Re: RIAT 2015 with a disposable camera

I like those alot, it takes me back to the 80's.
(I don't own a camera, but it reminds me of the photos my Dad took and as you say , trawling down to Boots).
Pity there isn't a Vauxhall Viva in the background for authenticity.

I have been getting [some] longer delays with page refreshes, but I suspect it's to be expected as the site may be becoming a bit busier from now on, and over the next few days.

Lovely shots there Darren.
Reminds me of the day I got the opportunity to climb all over 'The Chief'.
Those machines were awesome.

These keep popping up on PP, but unfortunately they're positionless (a least for me anyway).

Re: Hercules near Oxford Airport 14\01\2015

I'm not sure if these are your aircraft, but these came over my house ( a few miles south of Banbury) at low level tracking NNE sometime between 1pm and 2pm.
I went inside and noted the below off my dump1090:
Jigsaw1 43c1e8 / ZH880 and
Jigsaw2 43c024 / ZH879

Re: Some Cool Cloudscapes

Yes, we noticed some spectacular clouds last Wednesday too in our area. I'm not sure where you're located?
It was interesting seeing how contrails were being dispersed at different rates, creating some unusual shapes.

Some nice captures there.

Blitzortung (UK) keeps taking me to Tokyo for some reason, so I can't see the direction of travel.
The wind was westerly earlier, and I did see some activity earlier over S Wales, so we'll see what happens.

Excellent Tony.
This is the sort of monitoring that I aspire to, if only I had a clue and the time to learn.
FRD's, that was a gem this week for me.
Cheers.

Re: Monday/Tuesday Thunderstorm Heads Up

I know it's not the UK, but I've spent the evening watching various Webcams in Germany following a huge storm. (I had a choice between monitoring the B2 and this Storm, and the Storm won). It has been staggering to watch all the lightning whereby 23,772 Strikes have occurred in 2hours. I've never se...
