Re: The Mound

What sign might this be mate? :) The one discussed here. An old thread. The pictures are no longer showing, but it's the large red sign...

Re: Red Arrows plan 'surprises' for 50th anniversary season
I was told yesterday, that there is a Red already half way through its paint scheme, in Blue. Apparently, it is very impressive. I was also told that there will be 3 in this scheme. This would make sense. There are now two Hawks with blue tails flying. Add those to the one that is supposedly blue.....

The person that saw it, said it was made very clear to him, if pictures were taken, the guy showing him around would lose his job. I am confident that the person is telling the truth. Kev. So why show them round then? Ano...

Here you go: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond80 http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond3100/ Have a read and compare. The D80 was my first DSLR. Its a nice basic camera. I suspect that you will find that the newer D3100 will be a better body. It's worth buying as a second body though. ;) I'm su...

I'll add my couple to the love affair list. I grew up In Beelsby. The Lightnings used to fly over our back garden very low as they were going into Binbrook. I can still hear the distinctive whistle. I used to jump on my bike and ride to Hatcliffe road and stand on a concrete pad (still ther...

Cranwell gate guard
I've been told that the Dominie gate guard will be put on its plinth this weekend. I don't know which day. But just thought someone local might be interested. Might be worth keeping an eye out if passing.
