Serials were as per ADSB (sorry, should have made that clear), so not confirmed visually.

I suspect your "air seeker" was P-8 Poseidon ZP809 which performed several circuits today.

It does carry "19 AW" on the nose, but no fin markings as you say.

ATIS isn't transmitting yet, but there are some cars arriving at the last chance at the 24 end.

Re: A day out to Rhosniegr
Some nice shots there, you've whetted my appetite for my trip to Valley in October! Was supposed to be on Anglesey last week, but with covid was not to be.
The Rhosniegr end looks good. I've not tried that end before, what is it like for parking?

Nice catch. I'm kicking myself as I drove past the runway 02 end at about 1.20 but didn't have my radio on! Were you in the car parked in the field entrance?

Ashley, I've not yet had the opportunity to use it much, but have found the basic tasks fairly intuitive.

Re: Nikon D7100 Upgrade
If you want to stay with Nikon and the DX format then the Nikon D500 would be the obvious choice. If your budget doesn't stretch to that then the D7500 is a very good alternative (think of it as a D500 lite). Both use the same sensor and have excellent autofocus. Probably only one or two flights a month. Last ones I heard were on 28th October when unusually there were two flights on the same day, callsigns SCAMPTON33 and SCAMPTON35.
