Re: Oshkosh
Further query, on 27/7, visited North 40/FBO area, where there were 2 'Fighter' aircraft parked. For some reason these were not logged!
Can anyone confirm that these were the 2 'FF' F-22s?
If not, what were they?
Any help appreciated

Re: Oshkosh
On 27th July, EA-18G 168939/NJ567 was noted being towed into the 'veterans arena'. At that time there were a further 2 F-18s parked up on the east side of Runway 36.
Can anyone advise which aircraft these were?
Thanks

2x F-5 at Waddington 29 June 1975
Two F-5s were noted at Waddington on Sunday 29 June 1975, possibly Dutch. A report of the Vulcans present that day, appeared in a copy of 'British Aviation Review' (BAR), but no mention of the two F-5s

Re: Bell AH-1Z coded 'TV31'
Thanks for that, have seen this mentioned as being the machine coded, as such, in 5/2018.
I don't know if they change units/codes very often.
However, it does fit with our sighting, when we recorded it as possibly '160(6)..' The tail rotor hiding most of the serial.

Re: 'Old Airfield' info
Noticed following comment in local paper, regarding Edinburgh Airport, not from an enthusiast, but 'joe public'.
"Edinburgh Airport, a large shopping mall, with an attached runway"
Quite apt!!

'Old Airfield' info
With runway 12/30 now 'decommissioned', a new fence has now been erected across it and most of the 'old' airfield. Now no access to the 30 threshold, which was used for 'parking', mainly by visiting GA aircraft, but also most military visitors as well. Also no access the hangar area, which was also ...

A Very Long shot, I logged a 'silver' C-130 here, on above date, presumably a USAF machine.
By any chance, anyone have any information regarding this?

Sad to hear that.
Was an excellent website regarding the 'Shack'.
Great memories of them regularly visiting RAF Turnhouse, with almost daily sightings 'over the top' routing f/t RAF Kinloss

Avro Shackleton website query
Does anyone have any information regarding website "avroshackleton.com" My 'link' this site now brings up a page containing 'adverts' for models, including Shackletons! Until recently, this excellent website listed individual histories of all the Shackleton produced, with Units, dates, as well as pl...
