Re: Upgrade to mirrorless or full frame?
Not used the RF 100-400 but it depends whether you consider the 4x price-tag worth the extra 100mm. Personally I would have kept the EF 100-400 as it is generally considered better than the RF100-400 (L-glass vs non-L) and on a par with the RF100-500 L (as I advised earlier). It is also weather-seal...

Re: Upgrade to mirrorless or full frame?
Thanks for that - not questioning your decision, just curious. I have the 100-400 Mk.II on the R. I also have access use my wife's RF100-500 and personally they are on a par IMHO. RFs are lighter but expensive. Hope you get more help and enjoy whatever you end up with.

Re: Upgrade to mirrorless or full frame?
For starters just curious why you got rid of the 90D - never had one but have heard good things and seen good results online? Glass upgrades often give bigger benefits than body changes. That aside however, I went from crop 700D to FF 6D (mk1) and was very pleased with the change. I then went to Mir...

Great Scooter shots but that topside is a stunner.

Great classics amongst those and some lovely light. Love the topside shots but the first is a fabulous combo and perfectly timed.

Re: Red Arrows Combine 8.3.24
A lot more could have been made of the "60" - as such it is almost lost in the overall appearance. I am no designer but I am definitely underwhelmed on this one. I have more or less given up on RAF schemes but I would have thought the Red Arrows could have invested a bit more for this. Maybe reduce ...

Re: Warning!? Waddington and other airfields
Don't have, can't use! My fear is that, sooner or later, there is going to be a (another) serious accident at Lakenheath. The authorities do not seem to bother. There is a clearway along most if not all of the A1065 running by the base and people even park between the bollards next to the sign. Scho...

They passed through Lakenheath in 2006 too, but can't recall where from/to.
Found it - returning from Leeuwarden.

Lovely set. Great light with blue skies and plenty of fluff and streamers - something the F-35 is very good at producing.

This one was originally XS102. The real XR992 was written off at in 1969.

Interesting comments? No, just plain rude and assuming that everyone can go anywhere in the world. Probably shouldn't expect better from those two!

Re: Warning!? Waddington and other airfields
How can deliberately standing in line with a jet efflux be anyone's fault apart frm the idiot(s) doing so? Off topic but along the same lines: thieves break into electricity substation to filch the copper and get electrocuted - who gets blamed - the electricity company. Just another example of blam...
