I go by which line the jet comes off of, regardless of callsign etc, as has been said the jets are pooled and are rotated between the units but as Ian has said, they tend to keep them with a Sqn for a period before rotating them. A bit easier just now as none of the Sqn's are deployed. Can get conf...

They tend to lodge with one squadron for a while and as each operates from their own line you can work out who is with who.

If you mean the aircraft at about 14s it's an F-35, the video just isn't picking up the tailfins well.

I think RAAF C-17A A41- 209 did a practice diversion at Aberdeen on its way. I saw it heading South as I was passing Kingswells, driving towards Aberdeen. As Parkrunner says it was most likely the A400 you saw, they do look very similar from a distance so it's easy to confuse them, I know I've done...
