Yes, I remember when they did it a few years ago they had about 12 F-15's launch at 2am!!

492nd and 495th were flying morning sorties from 0800 onwards. 492nd were hot pitting I think. After lunch, 492nd, 494th and 495th were going up. 494th flying until around 1930

I was in the viewing area yesterday morning and spoke to a couple of guys from the 555th fighter squadron visiting from Aviano. They were selling patches, coins etc.
Just make sure you have cash with you.

The Austrian QRA demo stood out from everything else for me.
Best display team was easily The Black Eagles.

We can expect the static B-52 to be one of the first arrivals I'd have thought.

Does anyone know or think that the 492nd will be out East until November to do a full 6 months, or could they come home earlier?

They have been flying evening sorties for a while. They normally launch just after sunset, so from 1600 local onwards.

Several F-15E's were up this morning aswell as at least 12 this afternoon.

F-35B (ZM146) arrived at Lakenheath around noon for the media event I guess.

Lakenheath will increase flying operations next week from Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd. Awesome news!!

Did the Voyager turn up?

Should be business as usual.

494th are away but 492nd and 493rd are at home.

Is Lakenheath active this week? I'm thinking of popping over in the next few days
