Re: Best flight simulator?

DCS is a great sim as said above but needs a fairly powerful PC to play it, but it is free with a Su-25 and a TF-51 to plod around in! The F/A-18 comes out today and it is fantastic. Falcon 4.0 is another great sim with the BMS 4.33 mod you are looking at the best war sim out there as it has a dynam...

Flying Legends 2017 & Berlin Express Arrives

Here are a few from a fantastic flying legends. The Horsemen were awesome as always! More too follow. I have included a couple of the "Berlin Express" arriving as she is too beautiful an aircraft not to include and sadly couldn't fly for the airshow after a canopy mishap. https://farm5.staticflickr....

Re: Old game

If you are looking for combat sims then I suggest DCS and BMS 4.33. DCS is a combat sim with many superbly realistic, fully clickable aircraft. Lots of choice. It is also free to play with two planes, the SU-25T and the TF-51. BMS 4.33 is a mod for the old Falcon 4.0, so lots of F-16 love. BMS is th...

That would make me very happy! I loved the Rafale at RIAT. I am secretly hoping that there will be some warbirds too, I have been itching to try this new lens of mine out!

Thank you for the reply.

either you have a very big ladder, or you know somewhere to go further down the lane?
Thank you!

This was just at the end of the lane, just before the bushes. Through the fence though, fortunately my zoom doesn't pick the fence up.

Re: Advice for labelling Patches

I store all my patches in some archival safe CD sleeves that I number, and then have a word document with the info of: number, where bought, date bought and what the patch is for /from. That gets printed as each page is filled. If you haven't seen the fantastic Lakenheath Patches Blog-spot and his t...

493rd Wanted.

Hello, As some of you may know I love Mildenhall and Lakenheath patches, and particularly those from the 493rd. There are a couple I am trying to track down, despite how rare they seem, and am I wondering if anyone wants to part with any, or knows someone who does. I am looking for the 493rd version...

Rich Graham and the Two Tornado chaps, all round very good. Looking forward to tomorrow, the two day ticket is quite the de...

While it is not that particular model Hobbymaster are bringing out a small run of 1/72 F-15E's of the 492nd FS Lakenheath. Pre-order at the minute! May scratch that Lakenheath diecast model itch! I've pre-ordered mine and hoping it will be a good one.

Panthers Patches.

Hello all,

I didn't pick them up at RIAT after splurging on the rarer patches, but am wondering if anyone has for sale the Panthers Red Flag patch and the Panthers go to war patch.

Any help appreciated.

Many thanks,

Ben.
