Re: HOWLR 21/22 Departure 17-10-23

The first one would look great blown up to a massive scale on my mancave wall!

Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

Re: Organised Cycle Rides inside Marham Base (RAFA Rides)

Thanks very much for posting this. Me and two friends went over and did this and had a blast. Certainly a very unique view inside the base and the staff that organised it did brilliantly.

Just found one of the articles, can't help but think a lot of it is quite fanciful, especially given the current situation but we will see...........

Re: ADS-B Exchange sold to private equity firm

Private equity investment never ends well. These guys only come in to build it up to make a profit and sell it (or pocket some hefty returns). Shame, as I stopped using 360 and stuck with ADSB. I'm guessing at some point it will be sub only (or they will stick a load more adverts over the site), tim...

Re: Ramstein future?

I suspect that may be a legacy of when DT was running the show and he wanted to pull stuff from Spangdahlem. I guess people then added Ramstein into the mix off the back of this!

Re: riat volunteering

Working on Trade and Exhibition the bulk of our work is done before the show and very early each show day, depending on where you are you do work long hours (Sundays tended to be 5am to 9pm for example). Yes you do get time to look at the show but as Thor says Team comes first. We had all sorts turn...

Drop them an e-mail now and get yourself on any waiting list and then someone will be in touch in the new year (I would have thought)

Re: Fairford Construction thread

With the hangars, there was an edict to all the volunteers at RIAT apparently not to take any photo's of them. Slight madness given they can't be missed but hey ho!

Judging by the amount of orders coming in from Europe it's all we will see soon. The C is the best looking of the bunch but it's not really a badge of honour :O

Re: Duxford Summer Airshow - 24-25 July

Yep, it's a couple of miles from the station so don't go too heavy! I'm just grateful there's a chance of an airshow this year. My daughters have been wanting to see the Red's for sometime now and this is substantially better (if a little more expensive) than sitting in a layby watching them fly ove...

If they do change their mind they are more than welcome to keep the C's, the E's (x2) and then add the 496th to the residency list at the Heath! :D

If you look at photo 10 in this.... viewtopic.php?f=16&t=204184 it shows one of the F-35's hangared up. I would assume that the other one is as well.
