I've been thinking about an Extender for mine ..
50D with 70-300mm IS USM (can't afford a bigger lens).. Yeah it's already a Crop-Body but if I got the 1.4x .. would the AF still function?

Apologies if this is the wrong area to ask ...
I'm going Camping near Newton Abbot end of July ..
Is it worth me taking the Camera for MilAir or leave the extra CF Cards at home as it's boring stuff ?

I generally use Accuweather and wxcharts .. gives me a pretty good guess at what's coming .. but as stated on most places I've looked and even when doing the storm chasing .. you can't take anything over 72hrs away as more than a 50/50 guess and the best time to look at forecasts is about 00:30z aft...

well, the Avatar is still the best photo I have ever taken in the Mach Loop (or anywhere) of the GR4
and the username ... well, I have owned 7 Vx Fronteras' in my time, I love the car for its character and that it's underestimated when off-road so it's great fun
