Re: Herc's at CBG November 2023
Richard, I visited at around 11am Thursday, the BH was parked facing left. QD 167111 was parked to just the right of this one facing right side on. I read both of these off. The BH was quite hard to read due to angle. Hope this helps, David

Re: Long Shot Curacao
Hi H,
Have checked scramble and there wasn't any usmc herks present those dates, but there was a USCG HC-130J 2012 present (4th July - 15th) so it must have been this one.

Re: Patuxent River - Summer 1987
S-3 158742 was photographed marked up as ASW on the tail in May 1986 158736 was also photographed with ASW on the tail April 1985 But more googling reveals a photo of F-105 63-8299 as another of the F-105's. All have a yellow fin tip. Your UH-1 coded E-172 sounds like an ex Whiting Field training co...

Re: Patuxent River - Summer 1987
With regards to the F-105, the following were at least present in May 1983 63-8304 / 8306 / 8319 and 8332 +2?. All were awaiting transport via barge to Aberdeen Proving Ground. At a guess I would say it was one of these that never made the trip. There are photos of these online taken at Pax River. H...

Hi Graham,
Thanks for the extra info, very interesting they probably used the same serial on multiple aircraft a few days apart. I have managed to find that the aircraft arrived initially from Andrews as well.
Thanks

U-2 68-10345 Mildenhall 18/1/1975
Hi all,
The above U-2 was noted at Mildenhall by my dad carrying this spurious serial in 1975. Does anyone know it’s real identity?
I believe it may have visited multiple times on its way to and from Cyprus.

REQ for MASDC/ AMARC yard logs around 1975 and 1994
With the extra time on my hands I am finally getting round to definitively sorting logs out for the above. Does anyone have any logs for the yards around Davis Monthan for 1975 or the subsequent years afterwards? and similarly does anyone have any logs for 1993/1994/1995? I have a large number of ga...

Re: REQ Tucson area - specific H-34 requests.
Hi Bob, I have just been doing some work of my own on the Tucson IAP H-34's and can confirm the following was read off in August 1994: 145809, 145779 (3H164), 148001 (3H015) and the fourth was read as 1461**. I am trying to tie this one up as well as the serial is wrong, I wonder if it should read 1...

Yuma WTI March 2007
Hi all, Was lucky enough to visit the WTI at Yuma at the end of March 2007. I managed to tie up a few of the usual haul of FA-18's and CH-46's but as usual have far more codes than serials for everything else. I am especially needing help with the CH-53's and the UH-1's/ AH-1's. Does anyone on here ...
