...on the Left/starboard fin the letters "AEW" and "EXMS" on the port tail... Port is left (both four letters) and starboard is right (both longer than four letters)... ;) D'oh and I googled it to look clever! And that was before I went to the pub! I like Fightiness. I think that should be a performance parameter for all military types.mustang5861 wrote:Snoop 95 wrote:Undefinitized eh! Let's think, what other words could we invent? Controlification? Fightiness?

Re: Aviation Books to read
One of my areas of interest is the Canberra PR7 / PR9 and in particular the photo reconnaissance role, how this was delivered, equipment, mission planning, flight profiles etc. I cannot seem to find much published material about this specific area. Hi,
Just heard and saw a Typhoon overhead which is very unusual as I live 20 miles from Stansted on the extended centre line.
Did a bit of checking and found Ryanair flight FR2145 from KUN to LTN just landed at STN and is parked on the NW side of the airfield. Something odd going on.

Hoping to combine some other interests - motorcycling, photography, radio - into more frequent visits to various airfields. Not quite so many to choose from as there used to be when I was younger. I think those of us who ...
