Re: Lakenheath NOTAM 8/04/2024

Unless I'm reading it wrong, this suggests it is only closed for 5 hours, is there an event or some minor maintenance work being done on that ramp on Monday?

Not sure I could ever get bored looking at the best swingers in town

Lived in Birmingham from mid '80s and spent many days off work at Upper Heyford.

Very sad to hear this news earlier. :'( She is the same age as me, which makes me think of how lucky I am to be blessed with relatively good (mental and physical) health.

May she rest in peace, Steve

Re: Check list

The green entrance was the same. No sign to say they were selling checklists, but the official stall had them "under the counter" to stop them blowing away. Not sure why they don't publicise their sale anymore? A relatively accurate and up to date list for £4.00 saves a lot of writing, especially in...

Log from a quiet Cologne 19/05/23

The Moxy Hotel, situated near the multi-story carpark, was relatively good value at £104 for the night. Fo...

Re: Glasgow 17th and 19th April

Very nice pics, I especially like the light on the Herk.
I have seen most of the French A-330s at Getafe, but yet to be in the right place at the right time to get a decent pic of one fully painted. Hopefully they will send one to RIAT this year, as it's a tanker meet?
