It's a Nato common frequency, the Austrian typhoons had it on their external tanks during the QRA demo at RIAT.

Re: Midlands air festival 2023
In response to both of you that's exactly what i said. To blame ATC know one really knows. And yes first overland display... as i put. Either way what with the CAA being so strict you would have thought the Draken would have been here earlier to pre plan everything as the Belgians did last year befo...

Re: Midlands air festival 2023
Yes indeed a rare sight in the UK that's what makes it all the more disappointing, to blame ATC who really knows. It's just a shame that they would have known where it was going and why, if they knew there was a hold up in the area be it close to the airport or in between why clear it for take off? ...

Re: Midlands air festival 2023
The Drakens display was dismal, 3 passes, no topside pass, 1 burner pass absolutely shocking, i think the only person that was left happy was the commentator. I cannot believe it flew from sweden to do 3 passes.

I also thought it had been removed, was a lovely surprise when it turned up, don't remember the tanks being in the scheme when it arrived for Riat but could be wrong

Re: Formula 1 2022
I loved the fact it said that the FIA and Red Bull agreed on the punishment, and $7 million for a lesser team i can understand it would be quite a large sum but for the bigger teams it's spare change really. I mean not to take anything away from Verstappen quality drives all year round. In my opinio...

Re: Diesel prices
BP in weeting has diesel at £1.85.9 and unleaded at £1.84.9 petrol has always been cheaper by a considerable amount, That price board had me shocked as you get nothing like the milage from petrol as you do diesel. Luckily i have a diesel engine otherwise i would not be able to afford to get to work ...
