That's probably what I saw, just remembered it incorrectly as four engined.

yes, right enough, they were F15s. Any ideas where they might have flown from?

Hi All, think I saw three F-18s over Dufftown this morning, would have been around 10:00.
They were heading east at around 1500 feet then turned south over the Cabrach.
Would anyone know where these were from and what they are doing here?

Seen today around midday - Canadian CP140 Aurora, flew over beach to land from north east. Three Grob G115E (only noted one, G-BYXL) active, take off and landing, circuiting down to Dufftown area.

Hi All, noticed on NOTAMS there is a flypast over Elgin scheduled 10:45 to 11:15 on 21st April, 3 mile radius of Elgin, 5000 ft ceiling. Does anyone know what this is in aid of?

apologies if i have missed the info somewhere, but is any date set for the Tornadoes actually leaving? Is there any plan for a farewell display?
