Was this year unusual as I have never heard so much US activity during the Xmas break before even here in the east Midlands. I know the RAF were all on their hols but was there a general high alert?

our hotel was at the end of the road Neil so just a short ride on our bikes to the gate at the ne.all the luftwaffe efs are at Norvenich at pres as Wittmind being tarmacced. Ever so slow to take off compare to cgy. no ab on takeoff. The german spottrrs were a bit green when I told them what was at cgy

missing the tyffies from cby blow me I stop at a village next to a luftwaffe eurofighter base . saw 4 come in but quiet now. will have looksee tomorrow. any ideas best view cheers mike
