It’s fun to see people eat vegan for the environment.

Re: RDAF Airshow 9th June 2024 at Aalborg

You can look through the windows of the first floor. But I have no clue on how you can view the displays. I would gamble on the runway 26 side, and maybe move on if the view from there isn’t good.
I have no experience from outside so cant really help with that

Re: RDAF Airshow 9th June 2024 at Aalborg

For runway 08 indeed, you’ll need a boat… 26 and the civil terminal are the only places from where you can see some of the action.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread

With both Soloturk and Phantoms there will also be some Hercules and/or A400 support flights. Also a very nice addition for the (likely) Thursday and Monday. Maybe even a KC-135. Or do I get carried away now?

Re: Zagreb

Is there any more info available on what’s expected at Zagreb May 11th? So far I can’t find much online.

TIA

Do you think there will be any participants from Russia or Iran? Asking for a friend 😎
I’ll ask my Ayatollah friends what they can do. They’re not as bad as people think they are…

are there still any T-2/T-37 stored at the far end of airfield to the terminal ?
They have all been removed to an area behind the hangars and flightlines.
Also visible on Google maps.

Re: Kalamata

Well, if that’s the case, I can consider myself an idiot. But if you’re careful it’s well possible. Just choose the right time. And never got in to trouble during multiple visits in recent years.
Still need to get back there for my last T-6, ands few M346’s that still have to be delivered.

Couple of T-6’s 002,021,028,039, 040 on the active ramp. There weer 5 m346 present and 3 x T2 on the ramp. All unread.
Only 5 M346 have been delivered so far (250/251/252/253/254) so you got them all.
Monday morning 252, 253 were flying and 254 was on the ramp

That’s indeed the entrance used for spotterdays. Just park the car along the straight road along the fence.

Every time we visit Greece we also visit Megara and Tatoi and read everything. Never had any issues. But of course only when you keep low profile
