In the end it's need to know principles. So don't expect anything published to be anything other than what they deam low risk and are prepared to let people know.

Re: USAF is "planning" to reactivate 20-25 Cold War era airbases in Europe (Rumour)
If a base closes and has part let out or parts demolished then the chances after 5 years are nil. I think the rumour behind this is probably related to the increase in deployments to NATO members bases. This can be seen at Lossiemouth where the US Navy P-8's regularly visit and have some facilities ...

George 'Johnny' Johnson
Sad news, It's being reported that George ' Johnny' Johnson (The last Dambuster) has passed away. Total legend. Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds, – and done a hundred t...

Re: USAF to Unveil B-21 Stealth Bomber on December 2nd
Watching the livestream and looks like a cut down B2 but I think it should be called "Ghostraider" as the profile in the light reminds me of a ghost. You'll see what I mean when you watch the unveiling.

Looks like a loss of situational awareness. Awful and unsurvivable. My thoughts go out to the families.

Re: China's armed forces recruiting dozens of British ex military pilots
Just like to say if your refering to the 1989 OSA that in fact parts of the 1911 OSA are still live. The part that captures the disclosure of information is in section 1.1 (c) https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/Geo5/1-2/28/section/1 1Penalties for spying. (1)If any person for any purpose prejudici...

Re: Predannack Airframes Removed
Airframes for rescue training will be placed at Culdrose instead of Predannack. The location of the area will make them to far from the viewing area to see.

Predannack Airframes Removed
Sad state of affairs that due to increased theft of parts from the airframes in the fire dump a number of these airframes are and have been removed. This is to encourage people to not access the site. No doubt if trespass continues MOD will be forced to put a fence up and look at prosecutions. . So ...

It won't be the new building for the airframes as it's not got the height for the aircraft or hangar doors to get the aircraft in. This building is more for the smaller items. This building was designed with educational / research tours in mind but the H&S on the existing hangars is likely to make t...

This is an existing Airfield known as Severomorsk - 1 and the southern one Severomorsk - 3.. No 1 has been undergoing a modernisation with aircraft displaced to no 3. There is a very good narrative that covers the Kola Peninsula from The Centre for Strategic and International Studies and covers thes...
