ZG771 is in storage at Marham awaiting final road movement to its final display location.

Of the aircraft from the last days of operations. 133,070,047,028, 055,075 129,076,045 have in some way or another been saved. Either as static display or for training.

Everything else has been recycled at metal processing facilities

ZA554 has a sad and chequered history. The aircraft was initially to be displayed as the lossie gate guard.

However the aircrafts history made it not ideal so it has been swapped for ZA463.

The fin off 046 was saved, the fuselage has been recycled.

ZA463 was 028, I’m guessing the fin off 046 was removed before the fuselage was destroyed.

ZA463 ‘028’ will be swapped with ZA554 and enter into preservation at RAF Lossiemouth

134 was delivered into the hangar for disposal swapping with 133 which has been prepped for road move into preservation.

The plan is to preserve the whole of 133, not just the fin

It is going to Honington but will be used to aid training at the camp.

063, 084 and 134 to be withdrawn and prepared for disposal next week. 028 is not one of the aircraft that is down as being preserved sadly. It will be sent for disposal within the month.

035 and 109 withdrawn and sent for disposal today.

In fact quite the opposite, 5 were launched at the same time, 3 for the flypast, 2 others airborne for a local sortie

134 had to be repaired today to hopefully allow it to participate on Wednesday or Thursday. .

ZA449 ‘020’ withdrawn from use at RAF Marham. No information yet on what the fate of the aircraft is.

Most of the remaining fleet are earmarked for preservation. I would hesitate to bet most of the painted specials will be in the preserved lot.

For an absolute fact they will be flying upto the 15th of March possibly slightly beyond that too.

However none will fly after the 31st of March, any movements after this date will be done by Road only.

I can confirm it is a complete airframe repaint and not just the fun and spine.

Absolutely no chance of any of them remaining air worthy.

There is no possibility of keeping any of them active post the 31st of March
However they will mostly be going to museums/ put on display all over the UK.

Yeah the frame was withdrawn at Marham with only one transit flight to Leeming allowed

Hopefully this is the last one to be sent for scrap, there are more fitting plans for the remaining aircraft left.
