Re: White Tops at Mildenhall 17 Feb 2023

It definitely looked like a 135 and the 747 had already departed when I went past. Maybe it was a different non 100ARW-marked KC135 - must have been a mistake on my part thinking it was white!

Keep an eye on this link, which will hopefully give you an answer?

Thanks very much for the link. It only seems to be listing one White Top there all week, but I could have sworn there was another that didn't have a large 'OF' on the tail..!

White Tops at Mildenhall 17 Feb 2023

Hello All, I had the joy of driving down the base straight at Mildenhall at lunchtime today 17 Feb 23 (but the annoyance of having just missed the KC46 and B747 departing!) There were two RC135s parked up over the other side of the airfield, but unfortunately I didnt have time to stop somewhere to g...

Re: Movements 22/10/21

Not much so far - there's been a small truck with hazards near the darkest one which drove off then returned, but no sign of any people around them

Re: Stripped down C130.

One of the other pages in the Cambridge Section states it "might" be ZH887, possibly destined for Bangladesh. Apologies if you already read that too, but looking for confirmation (I would too as I took a photo of it this morning!)

Re: Blue Angels C-130

Thanks to everyone who posted about this on Tuesday. Are there any rumours of her flying or outdoor sightings today please? I couldn't make it Tuesday, but if any likelihood today I will take a long lunch (3+ hours to cover travelling there and back)!

Re: Notam today 18th

There doesn't seem to be much sign of activity as of1200. All three B2s are outside basking in the sun. My camera isn't great, but I think the two outside the long hangar as you look from the Whelford Road are 1068 New York on the right and 1071 Mississippi on the left, then up by the inflatable/U2(...

Re: Tornado farewell flypast February 2019

Thank you to everyone who posted information, routes, NOTAMs, heads ups, serials etc on here which I think helped a lot of people get potentially the last glimpse of these great aircraft flying - certainly it all helped me. Now considering whether some unforeseen illnesses will require me to seek th...

Re: C2 Greyhounds at Mildenhall?

Thanks to the people who provided heads up and other comments - I managed to see them both land and then depart today so well chuffed - Especially as I also saw the Orion depart which I've not seen before, plus the landing Osprey, KC135 and E3!

Re: C2 Greyhounds at Mildenhall?

Thanks for the replies - the arrival/departure was the bit I wasn't sure about and no idea what happened to the C2s - last post I could find said they arrived last week at Lakenheath with the Hornets, but departed that evening for Oslo! I think they may be due in at lunchtime, then heading back out ...

C2 Greyhounds at Mildenhall?

Hello, I've read a rumour in the Heads Up section that the two C2 Greyhounds from USS Truman are at Mildenhall and possibly departing at lunchtime today. I'm desperately keen to see these but it means throwing a mid-morning sickie!! Can anyone confirm they are there and if they know roughly what tim...

As it was flying forwards, looking from the crowdline, 364 was furthest away.
That's wonderful, thank you very much for your reply.

Re: Required Saturday 14th July 2018

Hello, does anyone happen to know which side each of those two F15Es was on - i.e was 0364 on the port or stbd of the B2? Thanks very much in advance, and thank you to everyone posting serials and updates on here, it's really great!

That's lovely, thank you for the replies. I drove past the base this morning and saw the fin but it looked like it had a different flash on the stbd side!

KC135 landed Friday 15 June approx 1735

Hello just wondering if anyone has details of the KC135 that landed at Mildenhall at around 1735L on Friday 15th June please? I was stuck on a bit if traffic heading from Mildenhall to Beck Row not far from the runway threshold so had a lovely view of it on approach (20 seconds later and I'd have be...
