Great!
But I'm biased, cause I was there too with 4Aviation. A great trip it was.

One more incident occurred in 1987 when a Su-27 slammed into a Norwegian P-3B. Both were damaged, the crew of the P-3 was lucky to escape unhurt.

Almost all Mi-24 Hinds were sold. Several Mi-24Ds went to Poland and are still in service.
Many others went to Hungary. Most (Mi-24Ds) were used for spare parts, but others (Mi-24Ps) flew on until 2013.
Many An-26s were sold to civilian operators.

Re: Zhukovsky MosAero 1992
Wow, very rare. That twin seat Su-7 and Ka-25 Hormone (not a Ka-27) are amazing, must have been the last airworthy survivors of their type. Most of the others were still there in 1993.

Re: Szolnok AFB, Open Day, 2015
Thanks Levente! Well the featherd Mi-24, or as it officially called Tweety I is in the museum - sort of -, this on the photo is Tweety II, "made" in 2010 for the airshow, Tweety I was "made" in 2001. This is news to me, I did not realise there were two of them. This means I have seen both: 117 in th...

Re: Szolnok AFB, Open Day, 2015
Very nice!
It looks like some of the aircraft from the Szolnok museum (now closed) are now on display on the base. The feathered Mi-24, yellow MiG-21 and special L-39 were in the museum a few years ago. Levente, what happened to the other museum aircraft?
Cheers,
Rob
