That first one is particularly nice. Was the Meteor not part of the event in the end?
Thanks. It was, I just didn't get a chance to photograph it

Vampire Evening Photoshoot 20th October

Saturday saw the Vampire evening photoshoot at Coventry, in which a small group came to photograph Vampire WZ507 joined by other aircraft as the sun set and the moon rose. Vampire evening engine run and photoshoot

Day, dusk and dark photo event with two Vampires at Coventry on 20th October. Vampire T11 WZ507 will, subject to serviceability, start after the sun has set, giving great opportunities to see the characteristic Vampire start-up with flames, at night. The two vampires haven't been seen in public toge...

With a high number of cars being parked on the eastern end of the runway, this Cold War Jets Open Day took place on the western end - allowing for different photographic oppurtunities, and a decluttered background. It was a busy weekend at Coventry, with the Catalina, Strikemaster, P51 and Harvard flying in for the Midlands Air Festival. Furthermore, the Vampire was up on Saturday for a local sortie, plus the JP T.52 stopping en route Weald. Some flying on the Friday prior to the show: https://farm1.staticflic...

Hi all, Since moving here a couple of months ago, the L-29 Delfin G-BYCT has been starting to get out and about. Yesterday morning, it went up on a crew training sortie, with general handling and a touch and go on return. It'll be good to see the aircraft operating here more regularly! 1. https://fa...

Testing and training took place before the handover I believe. Sorry not sure when it's off. Was supposed to be today (no clue what time), but given the forecast wind I imagine that could change

Wow low level in a Vamp sounds great fun! The aeros aren't the quickest, but they're very graceful and surprisingly comfortable.

Thanks all! The meteor was lucky to survive as it was damaged several times with various training squadrons according to :- http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/AirframeDossier.php?Serial=63132 Wow never knew that. Re: Vintage jets back to the Midlands!

Thanks all!

Yeah Paddyboy, it was great to have managed to organise them being together. The last chance to have an airworthy T7 and T11 together before the T7 left for the States!
