As for the marks, I could be wrong but this is how I understand it. Mark 4/4A are upgraded Mark 2/2A Mark 5 are upgraded Mark 3 (believe these are the special ops one's with larger fuel tanks etc) Mark 6 are new build CH-47F. RAF Marham have announced today that the Victor will be getting the chop after all, seems like no one has been able to present a viable case to save it. Will be a real loss, miss waking up and seeing it from my room window everyday

The Tonkas arent runners, theres no engine running at Cosford anymore, all the training is going more to computer stuff and VR for marshalling

Noticed tonight that 89-0129 'Spirit of Georgia' was being refueled by 3 tankers on the ground presumably for a flight tomorrow so potentially a shorter mission tomorrow with just the one aircraft. But would have to pay tax on the purchase.
