Re: Tornados

Dear Supra
Thank you for taking the time to comment. It does however raise a small dilemma. :S Both images were taken in '15 and I might have dug over the sensor since then.
It has prompted me (guilty, as charged ) to add the task to my list ;) Never too late

Re: Tornado GR4 Fleet General Info

For an absolute fact they will be flying upto the 15th of March possibly slightly beyond that too. However none will fly after the 31st of March, any movements after this date will be done by Road only. I'm not too sure about the roads up there but does this mean a chance of a very low level...

Just a thought.

Will the camouflage aircraft fly before the evening photography session? The tail fin would get muck all over the base. Have fun if you go on the visit :D

Re: Machloop ban

By thunder young sir! There are two of us who do not read carefully before posting. If I had read the thread carefully, I would not have posted anything. I was caught out by missing the " Typhoons are not..." As pointed out to me by Kevinj I thought that my previous post was sufficient to act as an ...

Re: Machloop ban

Someone posted a video on twitter of a Typhoon going through Cad a tad too low before going vertical. Haven't seen the video myself though but I think there are a couple of other reasons also. we are now on page 6+ and can anyone show clear evidence of what was wrong with the flightpath? What was t...

Re: RC-135 info

EGVP,
It would be quite easy to handle such an installation if planned by politicians guiding ex members of the management team of Carallion(?).
There does seem (to me) tobe a lack of a general long term plan for airfields but let's not start that hare

Re: Machloop ban

FYI There is a Freedom of Information request which has to be answered by the 29th Jan Further research has revealed http://digg.com/video/mach-loop-wales-jets https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0Wzh7Hou30s#fauxfullscreen Both of these clips do not answer my question, " What is all the fuss about? " but ...

No, I cannot find the text so I must be wrong. It wouldn't make sense for them to move to RAF Waddinton as you state. :D

Re: RC-135 info

I had been looking through here https://www.offutt.af.mil/News/Article/1695446/rc-135-rivet-joint-to-relocate-to-raf-fairford/ I might have misunderstood the post. I will take another look and post the info should I find it again. Personally, it would make more sense for the USAF a/c to move to RAF ...

Re: Machloop ban

2019, another year of controversial threads. Whoopee! I've just watched the video three times, read the thread twice, I think that I understand what everyone is on about. Just my thoughts & comments. If the pilot was on his own, he was a Dillon of the First Water. If the Typhoon was two up, he is a ...
