Re: The mound

 Just a thought :) Speaking of fly-tippers and rubbish leavers, as above. We all get plastic bags pushed through the letter box, instead of binning them if not used for charity, put them in the car, so that they can be used to collect small items of rubbish around the airfields that we all lov...

Re: ? are these V1 or V2 rockets ?

Glad that you liked em Slogen51. Kind of you to say  TonyO. You are absolutely correct, the projectiles are as you state. Upon reflection, my attempt at humour was not very well thought through. Anyone follow the exercise's progress via Gary's posts would have cottoned on to my ill conceived t...

Agree about MPs not being idiots. There can't be many employed people who can decide about increases in their own payment package and retirement plans.

Re: Does the RAF F35 have a gun?

Hello,
Agent K.. It might help this thread if you could ask your F-35B pilot whether he has flown / similated performance with a gun and what his opinion is relating to having a gun or being without one.
Something like that ;)

Re: Does the RAF F35 have a gun?

C24, Without being flippant:- Paveway bomb = £22,000 Brimstone missile = £105,000 Coalition lives saved = priceless I posted the info to show how expensive these weapons are compared with ( I assume ) the cost of cannon shells to achieve the same/similar result. Admittedly, launching a missile is s...

Re: Does the RAF F35 have a gun?

Some years ago I watched a documentary about Afghanistan in which an air launched missile, can't remember what type, was used to kill some Taliban. Two blokes, a rocket propelled grenade launcher, two AK47s and a Honda 90 motorbike wa...
