Re: Vulcan petition!!!
Hi All, Firstly, I can and would sign the petition if something was to result out of it, but outwardly, the lass now deserves the a well-earned retirement, she is now a goddess in every sense, and the memories she has provided us with since 2008 will remain, there is no doubt there whatsoever. Flick...

HELP REQUIRED - EGXJ (Cottesmore) Scenery
Hi All, I've got on my FS2004 the majority of the Lincs, Cambs Notts and Anglian airfields, but can't seem to find one for Cottesmore, Given that Wittering down the road is complete, having the AFCAD for EGXJ flying OTT makes the whole area look 'naked'. . . . any suggestions? Coltishall is another ...

Re: Classic Air Force to Close, Planes to be Sold
Hi All, I hope I'm speaking for everyone here insofar as what Mr Collet has achieved goes without saying. Some will acknowledge that the UK had a fantastic aircraft industry, and provided us with worldbeating aircraft (Vulcan, Canberra, TSR-2, VC-10 and many more), and by keeping them flying, be it ...

Windows 10 compatibility for MSFS
Hi All, Probalby a bit early yet to ask this question, but has anyone investigated the compatibility of MSFS9 and MSFSX with Windows 10 yet. I watched the BBC News' 'Click' program last night, and they said everything else bar compatibilty with software using earlier versions of Windows, such as XP,...

Hi All,
Why oh, why don the not do another, in the guise of PO2 (XX946 - memory still good at 45!), in the red, white and grey MRCA colours rather then the more restricted version on one of the GR Mk 4's (I don't know the reg on this one!)

Re: Kirk Olsson's F-16 Help.
Hi, Had the same problem myself, Jusst behind the cocopkit, if you look at the .JPG file, is the warning triangle for the ejection system. can't for the life of me remember which file it is you need, but if memory serves me right the textures file should have it in. if not, what I did was to cut and...

ASSSITANCE REQUIRED - 32Sqn Flightplans
Hi All, I've already spoken to Northolt CRO's with reference to the above, but the problem I have at the moment is a prototypical weekly flight roster for the 32 Sqn 125's. My belief is that they do 'out and back' work rather than 'point-to-point', but I am unsure of that. As things stand, they are ...

IRIS 'REDS' Hawk T Mk 1A
HI All, Just a quick call to advise all of a creation of mine done on a whim, well two actually. Both are derivatives of the aircraft we see at airshows, the first os one of the closed season lease aircraft (in this case XX244, in 208 Sqn display colours), but the base model has been swapped with th...

Re: Kirk Olsson's F-16 Help.
Hi,
I had same problem, albeit FS2004, I suspect it is the texture relating to the ejection seat, if it is the grey bird this will be a grey set, Thunderbirds and display aircraft will be red, In my case texture/decal3.bmp was modified to suit and reintroduced to the file concerned.

Hi All,
If the man upstairs gave me brains I'd be lethal. As it is I have the brains of a comatised hamster! Found one, but many thanks to all for keeping an eye open for me.

Tucano T Mk 1 panel for FS2004
Hi All,
Grovelling again,
Does anyone know of a panel that will replicate that of RAF Tucanos? The simshed one seems to lack any gauges for some obscure reason.
Many thanks

HI all Before I start, there is a aviation link in all of this! Mr Mourinho, bless him has stated that if Man City win the Premiership (as a 'Red' I hope they do!), the title should be stripped, as City have broken fair play rules. Given that Mr Mourinho does a weekly interview, and he moans almost ...

Hi All, They're not exactly stealthy are they! we've all seen them on take off. Tongue in cheek, if their 'bombs' (bombs can blow more than the skin off a rice pudding) don't kill us the CO2, soot and other unhealthy gases could! Pilots on tail chase need not worry about missing them either! :...

Re: "Sea Lightning" or not!
Hi All, I am sure that there are far more pressing matters that need action at the moment, Russian aircraft snooping again, Subs off Scotland, etc., etc. What I can't understand is why they seem to nitpick over mundane things rather than be more vocal about matters that are more pressing, or more to...

Re: The Green Party manifesto
Hi All, my comment will be clean. . . . but cryptic. Firstly, they havent't a clue, many airbases (Mildenhall, etc.,) by their presence support the local economy, as we do when we go to spot, by way of buying food, etc. if the spokesperson presenting this was in front of cameras, well they were doin...
