Re: First scam of Christmas?
Plenty on social media too. Gift ideas that appear to be UK based but are actually a network of Chinese companies that take the money but either don't supply the good at all, or what is supplied is not the same as the ad and poor quality. Don't trust the comments in the posts, especially facebook, ...

Re: Any recommended red pens for underlining?
I must say for me having a book to mark off is one of the fundamentals of the hobby - a visual representation in page form of what you have seen or what you still need to see. Nothing better than the satisfaction of underlining an entire page or completing a batch ( happens more often in the civvy ...

Re: Any recommended red pens for underlining?
I ditched the hook sometime ago and went to Freebird DB subscription, replaced all the books, up to date list, just punch in serials and it marks it off for you. However I've since realised how I miss being able to take the book and check what I need, or just flick through the pages and easily see h...

Re: Any recommended red pens for underlining?

Any recommended red pens for underlining?
Hello all, I would attach a screenshot from my phone but I can't seem to do that was trying show an example, basically I seem to get smudges when I use my red pen and ruler underlining serials in the Stuart Schofield MAM Book, not all the time but for some reason the odd red blob seems to appear on ...

Re: RAF Shawbury Familes Day 10th August
Was there a Texan/Strikemaster pair and Cessna/Hunter pairing over there today? Seen these over Caernarfon today which looked very unusual and can only assume they were doing flypast down there?

Re: Possible use of Abingdon airfield
Was there a couple of helicopters out of Abingdon, possibly Gazelles? Seen at Millets Farm (Abingdon) today in the distance a pair of these (what looked like Gazelles) doing what looked like some sort of airshow practice, they some synchronised turns and throwing them about

XX162 Hawk G9 tail
Hello all,
Can't find much info, but any ideas on what the tail marking on the based Hawk XX162 is, I say G9 as it looks like its a number 9 within the letter G, so don't know if thats right or not.
Googling XX162 G9 Tail doesn't give me much apart from some pictures
James

Black 01 U2 from the West for Fairford
I assume this was Black 01, seeing as it was over the Bristol Channel, at about 1140 a U2 came over Trowbridge (Wiltshire) low inbound for Fairford, which one was this please as didn't appear on 360Radar.
Any help appreciated!

Re: Anywhere to stay near the base?
Thank you very much for the help guys really appreciated! I looked at the holiday park, but no dates were available for September, even the high end ones are unavailable. The premier inn outside Lincoln looks extremely handy though, not just for driving to the base but also if I want to go into Linc...
