P3 Inverness
Hi all. Spotted today whilst driving over the Kessock bridge in Inverness what appeared to be a P3 Orion on finals into Inverness airport. Was wondering is that a normal activity, practice diversion etc.? At the same time there was a particularly hefty sleet/hail squall moving through. Not sure if t...

Re: How to post a photo.
I bit the bullet and decided to create an email account as requested on Flickr. Alas no matter how carefully I filled in all the necessary fields it won't seem to let me proceed. Very frustrating. Maybe just an iPhone thing? Regards. Stavid.

Re: How to post a photo.
Yes. Only because the photo I’d like to post is on it. I do own a tablet but not sure if that’d make the slightest difference to the technologically challenged such as myself. Regards. Stavid.

Re: How to post a photo.
Hi mike. Many thanks for the info. I downloaded Flickr. In trying to create an account it’s trying to get me to create an email account on yahoo. I really don’t want or need another email account but there doesn’t seem to be any other option? As already established, I’m not the best at these things ...

Many thanks Nighthawke. Does it need to involve Flickr? I don't even know what that is, let alone use it!!

How to post a photo.
Hi all. Any advice as to how to post a photo from my iPhone please. I’m certain I’ve asked this before but I’m forgetful as well as stupid. Thanks in advance. Stavid.

Re: Tornado farewell flypast February 2019
Looking forward to tomorrow. It's not every day you'd do a 120 mile round trip to watch three aircraft perform a single pass. But there again, it's not you're normal day.....

First Tornado in ages
Hi all, Had a fast jet go over work this morning approximately 10.30. By the time I ran outside it had gone over though pretty sure it was a tornado. Has been months since I last saw one round these parts. Doesn't seem that long ago that they were heading to Tain as fourships several times a day. An...

Re: Unknown Jet
Many thanks np1991. I had no idea there was one based in Inverness. Certainly haven't seen it in the area before.

Unknown Jet
Small jet just went overhead Alness. Only caught tail end by the time I ran out but it looked a bit like a Jet Provost. It was headed SE towards Nairn direction. Any ideas anyone? Cheers. Stevie.

Leuchars 87. I'd have been 14. Walking up from the train station I could see the high tails of the heavies then the smell of burnt kerosene in the air. Gave me butterflies.

Hi. Sorry for the late response. Yes that was this morning. First jet I've seen in weeks around here and a Yankee off a carrier to boot!
Cheers. Stevie.

Re: F & F Day 5/8/17
So much for no parking at the usual spotters area. Golf course end chokka. That aside, really enjoyed it. Great break in the weather for typhoon display. Coastguard helo coming over to wave to the kids was a nice touch but the typhoon fast pass at the end was class. One for the great unwashed!!

Valid comment. Any idea where anyone could park/stand without being a problem and closer than say Elgin?
