Re: Cobra warrior history
Don't forget the US airfield based participants, 2018 AV F-16 at Lakenheath, 2023 Norweigen F-35's at Lakenheath and SP F-16's at the Hall. Also I think some aircraft have operated out of RAF Leeming for this Exercise.

Cleaning Mounted Slides
Just uncovered some of my large collection of mounted 35mm slides and dispite them being in plastic storage sheets some damp has got in and some have gone mouldy.
Any ideas on how I can clean them safely without damaging the pictures?

Re: Belgian Air Force Days 9th & 10th September 2023
Looks quite busy for the F-35 team around Europe with RIAT being listed as well. Looks like they will be borrowing a Lakenheath 48 FW machine a good few times during the year.

There are a good few of us in Lincoln or the surrounding area, maybe a meet up would be good.

Volunteer job's normally appear on the web site, is there any perticular role you were thinking of.
Re: Thank You
Thanks everyone for the comments, we do try our best. Don't think there were many large cargo aircraft available (C-17) as reflected by the lack of them in the static.

Thank You
I would just like to say a big thank you to all those who like me worked at Fairford for RIAT and use this site , I think we put on a brilliant show in extremely challenging conditions after a two year gap. I have not read all the feedback but think most enthusiasts enjoyed it, well done. P...

Why didn't we just strip out 2 of the Sentinals we had them already paid for, surely Global Express aircraft would have been ideal for this role.

Parking restrictions for Waddington dated 7/3/2022 to 22/3/2022 (Restrictions to be implemented as and when required during this period). The rest detailling each road ref parking, road closures and speed limits too long to print out.

Re: Qatar F-15QA repainted
This makes sense Tommc as these were the first 3 delivered, I think the US serials do tie up with the c/n's 17-006 being QA06, 17-019 being QA19 ect, so when a list comes out we should be able to cross refer the c/n to the Qatari serial. Unlike the Saudi jets which I have no c/n's for.

Well said Andy,
I was there as well until just after lunch in the silver Astra. Agreed a great day at a great RAF Airfield, RIP.

Re: Air Fete Burgers!
I understand that wet burgers mean't that the burger was submerged in that delicious BBQ sauce, if you wanted a dry burger it came straight off the grill into the bun. Yes and i agree they used Bud to kill the flames on the grill so it went all over the burgers as they cooked.

While on the subject of Mildenhall burgers, do they have the same type of wet burgers at US airshows or are they different?
