Nothing from the USAF ACC or USMC. :(
There are some gaps again as in 2018 which conveniently were announced closer to the date. I can see that RIAT weekend is busy but presume schedules can be changed. Or am I being over optimistic. :'(

Re: RIAT post Mildenhall closure

If Mildenhall guys and gals are still at Fairford for the show does that mean we get all of the Burger stands that we all loved in the Mildenhall heyday. That would put a big sock in the food outlets that were ripping everyone off

Lynx enclosure booked, top row looks busy already with what looks like about 10% of all stand seats sold within first couple of hours.

Re: Yeovilton Air Day - 2019

Bit disappointed that they've banned telephoto lenses from the Swordfish enclosure for 2019 - didn't really see it as a big issue this year, although there were a few in there that had to be dealt with by stewards. Looks like they've decided to lump all the photographers in together and let them ge...

Re: Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow- 22nd & 23rd September

The IWM Airshow page does not have the Puma listed, is there a more up to date list or has the Puma been withdrawn. Looking forward to seeing it fly as it's seldom at any events in the air these days.

Re: Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow- 22nd & 23rd September

Presumably as the show has a B.O.B. theme, I hope we see a return to the skies of the three Hispano. Was very jealous that they were flying together last month and couldn't make it.Going to be interesting what formations will be created with such an array of aircraft to choose from. Might also be in...

Re: Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow- 22nd & 23rd September

Yes as I had really worked out, as stated the RAF editions were in the original post but probably not actually confirmed. Lancaster, Red Arrows and Typhoon 4 were the only RAF aircraft listed in the original IWM list. Just checked. ;) Brian Hi Brian. Again all I was pointing out was the second thre...

Hi Brian. Yes as I had really worked out, as stated the RAF editions were in the original post but probably not actually confirmed. Can't believe this line up, too many of my own favourites there for me to pick any real stand outs. think there is something there for everyone. :thumb: Well done IWM a...

'Big flying announcements' coming soon, according to the IWM. :thumb: Sorry MRTT, have we had the big announcement as in what was in the original list of RAF aircraft now confirmed or is there still more to come. Very very impressive already but your comment was after the list with these already li...

Maybe not for the display but the Aguila commentator deserved some sort of aware for absolute outright enthusiasm. No idea what he'd had for breakfast. Very high energy display from the commentator.

Re: RIAT 2018 Awards

I take it the awards are voted on by a panel from RIAT. After attending from Thursday to Monday I would have to differ with my views on more than half of the winners.
This is obviously only my view and everyone will see different things in each display. :halo:

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2018 Discussion Thread

Shows are now more responsible for "secondary crowds" when people don't take notice of road and path closures what can they do. I know, :'( why don't they abandon the display and send all the people who have paid to allow the show to go on in the first place home. Take a hint, post Shoreham they are...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2018 Discussion Thread

I was at Duxford the year that Bush Senior (I think) was in the UK. Towards the end of the flying display there was a brief pause as the commentators announced that there was close overflight they needed to let pass. In the distance quite well away from us we could see a group of helicopters. It was...
