Just wandered if any body knows if Lakenheath are on night flying next week. Reason being i may go Mach Loop next week to catch F-15,F-35s on day ops, if they come through, dont want to travel 300 miles one way if they are on nights.

Re: LFA7 The Spur @ Bwlch

Hi Rick,
I have never tried the Spur, but have seen some great images taken from there, i think its only best shooting from there in winter months. As if its sunny you are shooting into the sun.

Re: RF22-2 Nellis AFB

Very nice tour you had there Bob thanks for sharing. Like the mirror F22. Hopefully we are out on the West coast next month if we pass the PCR test. Shocked at the price rises when we booked especially the car hire. We said we did not to buy the car.

Re: Nikon 200-500mm

Hi Richard.
Thanks for the info and looking on your Flickr site, they are very acceptable. As you say its a very good lens for the price. Possibly going out to the West coast (States) in early May for some photography.

Nikon 200-500mm

Hi members,
I am thinking about buying the Nikon 200-500mm Nikon lens, did hear a few rumours that it goes a bit soft at 500mm. Can any members that own one give me there thoughts on this lens please.
thanks macbear 26
