A single grey Puma arrived at Leuchars from the South over St Andrew's and shut down in the 111sqn site outside a HAS. Was stillt here till around 1430.

Ran parallel to the A92 before turning right and heading north.

I was on the base a couple of weeks ago and on the old 43sqn HAS site, most of the buildings are empty including HAS's. Still in operational order re doors etc but unused. A few do seem to have logistics type equipment in them. The taxi ways between them are becoming derelict.

I left Leuchars about 1515hrs neither Chinooks had arrived by that time. They left Prestwick back of 1 so either I just missed them or they weren't going to Leuchars

I'm sure the guy will understand that safety is more of important than a fly past for a non operational reason. No point having it if cant hardly see it in cloyd. Disappointed in the weather Yes, angry or annoyed, doubt he'll be that.
