NEWS

Due to new employment away from home, the website will become updated on a monthly basis. As I am out of the house 15 hours a day, of which I am travelling 7 hours to and from work as well as doing a full days work.... Please carry on sending news items, photos and logs, as I will still add them to the site.

Monday 11th August 2008 - B2's arrive at Fairford

Once more Fighter Control's forum resident HF montor 'Razor61' and some of our other esteemed scanner listeners followed the transmissions of a pair of B2-B's routing over Scotland, and on to Wainfleet bombing range before routing on to RAF Fairford.

Friday 8th August 2008 - B-1B diverts to RAF Mildenhall

In the early hours of Friday 8th, Fighter Control's forum member and resident HF monitor 'Razor61' reported that a B-1B was diverting to RAF Mildenhall as it's Tanker for Air to Air Refueling failed to get airbourne.

Fighter Control's Travels.
Three members of the Fighter Control Team took part in an 11 Day, 15 State, 3000 mile trip of the East Coast, taking in the Cleveland, Brunswick and Westover Airshows, amongst visits to various Museums and also Naval Air Bases at Norfolk, Oceania and Pax River.
